You say: "I fear many times", "I'm being belittled", "I'm getting angry every time..."
Emotions are various mirrors of your own reflections for you to 'become aware' and transcend.
Yes! Only when emotions engulf our true nature, you should be alert, catch the moments and contemplate. Only when these emotions surface, it is a great opportunity to ask yourself “who is one, fearing here, who’s being belittled…, who’s the one feeling angry now???”

This question may seem absurd, but this is 'the’ weapon that can catch the ego-mind, which always assumes, anything & everything and any which way possible. You will agree that the mind keeps changing its stand and position. What is true today, is totally something else after a few days. Again, after some days it creates a doubt there. Because the mind can never, will never be sure! And if you use the mind to find peace of mind, it's a disaster anyway!
Therefore, when this question is asked “Who feels angry?”, this very question will bring Silence, and place you at your Source of who you truly are.*
Let's observe this: When you describe your emotions, you are clearly two persons here:
the 'one' who’s getting angry.
And the ‘other’ who is aware of the 'one' getting angry.
Now, which one are you really here, 1 or 2? Well, the true answer is ‘neither’
Both these are happening in the plane of Consciousness. And, you're That Consciousness. And, that’s why you are able to experience and at the same time, you’re able to catch and describe it here with us.
Now, this killer question, “to whom this emotion” places you back in the Source of silence, where ALL these dramas are projected.
Take a movie, many actions, fights, drama, fire, and floods happen; different movies of different emotions come and go, but the silver screen is the same! Fire doesn’t burn the screen nor the flood sweeps away the screen. Here, YOU ARE THE SCREEN in this anecdote.
This is not a riddle to get you confused. And do not try to understand these with your mind. The mind will get it. For now, you simply, just ask the question and that question will place back in the silence, that’s all that’s needed.
It may be a bit tough, but this is why it is said, to hold on to this TRUTH of Silence really tightly. Accept and Surrender, with this attitude, then it will not be too long before you see the light of peace. Divine is only a tester, not a destroyer. Divine gives only what you can sustain, not beyond. So, be firm and hold tight.
Well, another fact is this: What to do, you’ve become a sincere & genuine seeker now; there will be more tests but not for long. So be ready, you will be tried, twisted, busted, and bruised, repeatedly only to finally grant you THAT freedom of mind.
Now with this wisdom, you can even challenge and take the Divine head-on. And, roar “Bring it on, more trouble, no problem…nothing can shut me down”
This 'will' of the mind is called the matured or the purified mind which will be graced and eventually burned down by the light of Self to be by itSELF.
This is what many enlightened say: Experience of suffering is the fullest experience of the Divine. Sufferings bring you closer to Love of Divine.
