What Is Supreme Self?

You are the little self only until you realize your Supremacy.

Otherwise,

you ARE That Supreme Self, ever.

Determination, sincerity, and the burning fire to know the Truth can transform your entire way of seeing.

But the experience is not that, you become That.

It is that you cease to experience yourself as existing apart from That.

Like a wave discovering that it was never separate from the Ocean.

The wave does not become the Ocean. It discovers that it was never anything other than the Ocean.

The Supreme Self is known by different names across religions and cultures:

God. Divine. Allah. Vishnu. Shiva. Krishna. Christ.

It is also spoken of as:

ONENESS. NON-DUALITY. BRAHMAN.

What matters most is not what It is called.

What matters is realizing That.

This is the one and only purpose of human birth.

You exist to realize EXISTENCE.

Nothing else.

This is the one and only purpose of human birth, You exist to realize EXISTENCE. Nothing else.

What Are We Really Chasing?

In fact, look at the entire human race.

Isn't everyone, in one way or another, chasing happiness?

Meeting friends, sharing, laughing out loud—isn't there happiness in that?

A party is for happiness.

A new job.The first day at school.A new relationship.A new house.A new car.

All of them promise some form of happiness.

Have you ever heard someone say:

“I am looking for sadness”?

No.

We are all looking for happiness.

And are we not familiar with these thoughts?

“Once I achieve this, I'm done. After that, I'll be happy.”

“I really love this one. If I get it, that's all I need. I'm done. I'll be absolutely happy.”

“Once I build my dream house, or acquire ‘X’ amount of money, I won't need anything else. I'll be super happy.”

But what happens after the achievement?

For a while, there is excitement.

Then familiarity sets in.

What once seemed extraordinary becomes ordinary.

And soon, another target appears.

Another desire.

Another achievement.

Another temporary high.

Then dullness returns.

And the chase begins again.

This is the vicious cycle of Maya that most people are caught in.

They don't even recognize it as a cycle.

They are ON, because they believe this is simply how life is supposed to be.

They remain largely unconscious of the net of Maya in which they are caught.

“Why Me?”

And then, sometimes, life hits hard.

Something is taken away.

Something doesn't happen as expected.

A relationship breaks.

A dream collapses.

A body becomes ill.

A loved one dies.

And suddenly the question arises:

“Why me?”

Well…

Why not you?

Did you ask, “Why me?” when you bought your dream car?

Did you ask, “Why me?” when you experienced the most joyful moments of your life?

Then why ask it only when life doesn't conform to your expectations?

It happens because you are living an unconscious, accidental life—expecting existence to continuously arrange itself according to what you want.

But existence does not operate according to your preferences.

The Chase for Happiness

The fact is, you can never stop your chase for happiness.

Do you know why?

Because it is not really you who is chasing happiness.

Happiness is your very nature.

Your whole essence is Happiness.

You simply forgot it as you grew up.

So you keep looking outside

what is already within.

What is throbbing within you—the Divine, the Life itself—will never let you settle for anything less than the grandeur of this magnificent Life.

It will keep you on the run—

through every seeking,

every longing,

every joy,

every disappointment—

until Life finds

its full expression through you.

That full expression is Self-realization:

Knowing the Truth

of Who You Truly Are.

And that is the onlyhappily-ever-after of Life.

There is nothing in this world

that can give you

everlasting Peace.

There is NO-THING in this world

that can give you

everlasting Happiness.

Because what you are seeking

is not something the world can give.

It is what you are.

The Vision Changes

Once the Truth is revealed,

your vision broadens.

You no longer see people and everything around you through such a narrow, judgmental lens.

You begin to see things

as they are.

You begin to accept someone

as they are.

You begin to accept something

as it is.

Not because you have become indifferent,

but because the very sense of separation

begins to dissolve.

As Sri Ramana Maharshi points to:

There are no others.

When there is no longer a rigid sense of

“me” versus “them,”

the way you see the world changes.

This unified vision is the

Vision of the Heart—

not merely the vision of the senses,

and not the judgmental vision of the mind.

The Heart sees

without dividing.

And when there is no division,

there is Peace.
